Walking by the sea

I saw my impressions

Is it really what I see

Or some kind of reflection..

The footprints left behind

Shows the path I have walked

Determined thoughts in my mind

Didn't allow me to be stopped..

Every door I  knocked

Every intent gaze of mock

Every hardship I slogged

Time flew like a ticking clock

A lifetime can pass in a moment

A strong soul master countless battles;

Donot wait or lament

Evening Time...

Seeing the evening ,descending on the sky
Time to wind up work, birds' cry
Mind is deceiving & drifting away
Toil & sweat exhausted every nerve for the day


Dark clouds are hovering over the mountain
Standing next to the window she must be  impatient
On the trodden path going up to the town
Next to the fireplace,families gather around..

How long it will take to reach my abode
 Been to this path day & day long
Oh ! see the kitchen chimney burning so bright
Oh ! it's fireflies playing the trick on my bleary sight

Dragging & wobbly on this narrow path
Fatigue has pierced my body apart
Thought of fresh food for tonight's supper
Intoxicated me again  with some vigour

I knock at the door
Hear a kettle whistles on the stove
Waft of baked bread fills up the store
Within I hold passion galore

Her fingers play magically with the dough
A sight to watch her dazzling aglow
She hands hot tea & sit besides me
Her smile takes away the  weariness lurking around me..

The Indian Mockery!!

Thought of the Day!!

Since past few days we have been witnessing the great Indian circus created by our elected intelligent politicians demanding the proof regarding the air strike conducted by our armed forces. Especially when , for once the other big countries of the world has joined hands realising the seriousness of the situation . The roots of terrorism has really emptied out the humanity or fear of God from this beautiful creation called ‘World’

When other countries are supporting India & its stand against terrorism by mounting pressure on Pakistan, our great opposition parties have started questioning the government regarding the air strikes. Asking for proof , asking for number of terrorists killed. Why make a mockery out of the situation?

One can understand due to upcoming elections , opposition parties want to project themselves by questioning Government. They don’t want present government to win. Totally understood! but at least have faith in armed forces. At least show respect to people who actually carried out the strikes , don’t doubt their valour. How many times politicians have gone & visited troops who are deployed near LOC & border areas to show their support or concern ?. One thing people have to realise that for armed forces nation always takes the priority before any government. One really needs a heart of lion to join forces & die while fighting the enemy .

Everyday a tricolour wrapped coffin comes back home does politicians demand proof of their death? No! But number of terrorists killed becomes the debate of the nation. Opposition is allowed to question anything but at least they should remember when they got the chance to prove their worth what did they do? Today someone has taken a hard step to stop terrorism or dared to give a befitting reply to enemies of humanity than why point fingers.

One could see the change in strategy between India & Pakistan on the most important issue. Why not welcome it with open arms. Why doubt the gestures of other nation . Why not help the nation who is trapped in his own created whirlpool. Lets bring change which world requires & make it a better place for our generation next, where they can live without fear.

Thought of the Day..

We see so many investment plans popping up everyday. They are advertised either in newspapers , magazines , Tv or on the net. Flashing schemes appear to double the money or to secure the future . Temptations like “Invest today to enjoy post retirement comfortably” takes us to dreamyland. Their is no end to secure our money & think of comfortable future. While making investments in the house plans , SIP’S , mutual funds etc we don't realise our youth age sneaks away so quickly. We remain focused to save money or even to invest for our children’s future. But what do we achieve? Nothing! because in old age people enjoy less & uncomplicated stuff. Our children leaves us for their own survival . So during our prime years the investment plans brings us stress, tension & unending dead lines . The time which we could have enjoyed slips away.

So why not invest in health, relationship & inner peace. Why not think about saving our health rather than money. Investing in good health that means keeping healthy & fit , eating good nutritious food & do regular exercise. So when old age knocks on the door we don't depend on others. No old age comes without ailments but at least diseases have to fight really hard to enter a well kept body. If we keep close tab on our body then we know what works for us , instead of depending on doctors & popping pills. Why spend money on hospitals & medicines, just take out time to look after our body.

Why not invest is good relationship? First & foremost with our family which includes parents , spouses & children. Apart from them friends , colleagues or neighbours. Take out time to communicate with them. It helps in understanding each others problems. The wider the circle the stronger we emerge , as someone will always watch our back in difficult time. Be ready to extend help , be more approachable & humble. This investment starts as one understands this complex world . Slowly & steadily it will keep on increasing & shall bring benefits.

Lastly why not invest in inner peace? Do things which brings us happiness. Things which brings smile on our face without any guilt. Never let go of our hobbies, be it reading a book, watering plants or going for a trek. Never stop self growth by claiming, “I know & have achieved everything”. Learn to live for yourself & don’t bring stagnant point in one's life.

Nothing better can be achieved if we invest in a plan which includes health , relationship & inner peace. This investment will double up in no time bringing additional joys & happiness in our life. The ladder we choose now will definitely secure our future, the one which we can merrily enjoy with our grand kids.

Seeing the present scenario the tension escalating between India & Pakistan everyone is worried , praying that things come back to normal. Life becomes peaceful again. People are as usual started showing their E anger ,concerns, worries , anguish or even pain to the world through electronic media.. Which also includes blaming the government , holding them responsible..

But what about Fauji wives who are the silent spectator, watching the world speculating war like situation. They are not allowed to share any kind of emotion to the world. They are not allowed to share any information or concern about their husbands’ to anyone. They are not even allowed to upload a pic on digital world if their husband is wearing a uniform. The same uniform in which a soldier looks the best & his family feels proud of him. But ya! this is life meant for a Fauji wife.

Incase of tense situation ,they are so many instructions passed as what needs to be done incase of an attack takes place. They need to look calm & sound normal in front of their children even though worrying about their husbands’ well being is tearing them apart from within. The uncertainty hovering  constantly day & night whether the dear hubby will come back home safe & sound. Anticipating dreamily & hoping that he 'll be back before the kids result comes out or before that family function or the school reunion which he is so looking forward to attend. Fauji wives are not even allowed to show happiness & celebrate a victory to anyone in which their brave hearts have taken part or led the action.

When a girl decides to marry a soldier the package of worries, fears & separation comes along. She knows he means world to her, but for him his nation & duty will always come first without any doubt. The stoic smiling face becomes part of life while battling her inner fears & emotions.

The best thing a fauji wife does , when the husband is fighting in the front against the enemy for the nation , she keeps his world intact for him at home. So when he returns, he can enjoy his share of happiness meant for him as being born in this world.

Even they are allowed to enjoy this amazing life a bit!! Don’t you think!!
